Our story
Tidal House offers a convenient location and a cozy atmosphere in Ocean Shores. This recently remodeled 1960’s vintage A-frames is the perfect beach getaway! Walk to the beach on beautiful sunny days and enjoy watching the deer graze in the grass right outside your window.

Our family had a blast. The Chalet beat staying in a traditional hotel. The kitchenette was great, we were able to make our own meals, and had easy access to all of the Ocean Shores amenities, as well as a few minute walk to the beach. We look forward to returning every year!

What are check-in and checkout times?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM.
How do I check current availability and pricing?
Use the booking search on our website with your dates and number of guests. Availability and complete pricing can change, so rely on the current search results rather than an earlier quote.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. We welcome up to 2 dogs, subject to our current pet rules and fee. Cats and other pets are not permitted.
How many guests can each chalet accommodate?
Most chalets accommodate up to four guests. Chalets 5, 6, and 7 accommodate up to six. The maximum occupancy shown for your chalet applies even when a sofa bed is available.
Can I request early check-in or late checkout?
You may ask, but approval depends on cleaning and same-day turnover needs and is never guaranteed. Please wait for explicit confirmation before changing your arrival or departure time.
Can I walk to the beach from Tidal House?
Yes. The walk takes about seven minutes: go south toward the Grey Gull, walk behind its maintenance shed, turn left, and then take the beach path on your right.
Does Tidal House offer daytime-only rentals?
No. Tidal House does not offer day-use or hourly rentals. Use the booking search to check overnight availability.
