🚗 Parking
You can park directly alongside the cabin. This is the only designated parking space for your stay.
If you are expecting visitors, please have them park in the small parking strip on the south side of the property, near the Grey Gull.
🐶 Traveling with a Dog?
- Please use the provided pet sheets near the entrance to cover the furniture if your dog insists on being on the furniture with you.
- Pets are not allowed in or on the beds.
- Pets must not be left alone in the chalet while you are away.
⚠️ Pets are not permitted on the beds or left unattended in the property.
🌊 Beach & Ocean Access
There are two ways to reach the beach from the property:
🏃 Option 1 — Walking Path (Recommended, ~7 min)
The best route starts near the Grey Gull to the south of the property. Walk west from Chalet 1, then take a left after the shed on the Grey Gull property. Stay to the right of the foliage and you’ll find a path — take a right on that path and it leads straight to the beach. You’ll know you’re on the right track when you spot the foliage tunnel.
⚠️ Heads up: During wetter months this path can sometimes flood. If that’s the case, Option 2 may be your best bet!
🚗 Option 2 — Drive onto the Beach
Drive north for about a minute and turn left on W Chance A La Mer NW. This road provides direct beach access and you can drive right onto the sand.

⏰️ Check-out time: 11:00 AM or before
Before you leave, please take care of the following:
- Ensure all windows are shut and locked.
- Turn all heaters off.
- Wash any dishes you have used before departing.

Walk out to the south end of the peninsula — great for watching waves, spotting wildlife, and sitting on driftwood.
Damon Point State Park
A scenic walk along a narrow strip of land with water on both sides. Excellent for bird watching and whale spotting in season.
Beach Driving
Drive your vehicle right onto the beach at designated access points for a uniquely Pacific Northwest experience.
Bike & Moped Rentals
Rent an electric bike, pedal cart, or moped to cruise around town and along the shoreline. Look for Electric Bike Beach Rentals or Affordable Mopeds in town.
Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area
A beautiful natural area for hiking, bird watching, and enjoying the coastal landscape.
Ocean Pours Taproom / Elk Head Tap Room
Local craft beer spots — great for a relaxed evening with Pacific Northwest brews on tap.
Kite Flying on the Beach
The steady coastal winds make Ocean Shores one of the best kite-flying spots on the Washington coast. Pick up a kite at Ocean Shores Kites in town.

Pacific Paradise
Home to the largest mini-golf course on the Washington coast, plus bumper boats, an arcade, and laser tag. Fun for all ages.
Playtime Family Fun & Peppermint Parlor
Go-karts, indoor bumper cars, virtual reality, and a full ice cream parlor. A rainy-day favorite at 748 Point Brown Ave NE.
