Ocean Shores activity guide
Dining in Ocean Shores
Ocean Shores dining is casual and coast-minded, with seafood, pizza, breakfast, coffee, and familiar family options close to the main hotel district.
Plan your outing
- Best for
- Seafood fans, families, couples, and an easy rainy-day outing
- Allow
- About 1–2 hours, longer on busy event weekends
- Best time
- Year-round; confirm same-day hours outside peak summer
- Plan ahead
- Check current hours, wait times, reservations, and allergen procedures directly with the restaurant
Build meals into the day
The main Ocean Shores dining area is compact enough to combine lunch or dinner with shopping, family amusements, or a beach visit. Seafood is the obvious coastal choice, but the town also has pizza, burgers, breakfast, coffee, and international options for groups with different tastes.
Popular restaurants can fill quickly during summer weekends, clam digs, and convention-center events. An early dinner or a flexible backup choice usually makes the evening easier.
Tidal House Favorites
These are the restaurants we recommend most often to Tidal House guests.
In Ocean Shores
- Bennett’s Fish Shack — Great fish and burgers in a casual, kid-friendly setting.
- La Spiaggia Ristorante — Fantastic Italian food and an especially good choice for dates and couples.
- Oyhut Bay Grill — Excellent bistro-style food in Oyhut Bay, about a 10-minute drive south toward the North Jetty.
Around Seabrook
Seabrook is about 30 minutes north of Ocean Shores. The route from Tidal House wraps around North Bay before continuing up the coast to these two favorites.
- Koko’s Restaurant and Tequila Bar — Great Mexican food and margaritas in Seabrook.
- Ocean Crest Restaurant — Higher-end coastal dining with incredible ocean views in Moclips, near Seabrook.
Many Ocean Shores kitchens close earlier than visitors from larger cities expect, especially outside peak season. Check same-day hours and avoid postponing dinner until late evening without a confirmed option.
Dining with children or dietary needs
Casual service is common, but menus and operating hours change. Check the current menu before promising a particular dish to a child. For food allergies or medically necessary restrictions, contact the restaurant directly and ask about present ingredients and handling practices; an online menu alone cannot establish that a meal is safe for an individual guest.
